As CFO of Sun Africa and UGT Renewables, Robert (Bob) is responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the companies and executing the financing strategies we put in place for our clientele. Before joining Sun Africa and UGT Renewables, Bob was the Director of Project & Structured Finance at Honeywell UOP. He was responsible for arranging structured financing solutions for customers seeking to purchase goods and services related to Honeywell's processing technologies in the oil, gas, and petrochemical sectors. Prior to his most recent role, Bob spent over 15 years working in corporate and investment banking, where he specialized in structuring sovereign, corporate and limited-recourse project finance loans involving support from Export Credit Agencies, Development Banks, and Multilateral Agencies for large infrastructure projects around the globe. Bob's banking experience has included various lending positions with Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp, ABN AMRO, US Bank, and the Export-Import Bank of the United States. Additionally, Bob spent several years running a financial advisory business for Hatch, Ltd., a Canadian engineering company, where he advised clients on acquisitions and divestitures in the M&A space for assets in the mining, power, and oil & gas sectors.
